12 Days of Stampin' Up Christmas projects
with papermadeprettier

Guess what? It's only November and you have PLENTY of time until Old St. Nick comes to town. That's why I am going to wow you with these handmade beauties that YOU can make well in advance of the holiday season.  Many of these projects will be made at my Nov and Dec events, so check my events calendar for upcoming classes in Little Rock, Arkansas. Don't live nearby?  These projects are simple enough, that you can do them at home.  Let's start with cute, fresh and simple.

Day 1
Merry Little Christmas card:

I LOVE this color scheme. Stampin' Up is always up on what the cutest and latest color schemes are and this coastal cabana/real red mix really hits the mark.  This card and beautiful lined envelope come from the Merry Little Christmas Simply Created kit. It's only $9.95 for 8 cards!  WOW! Below is what is in the kit. If you are new to stamping, you also will need ink and a stamp set. GREAT NEWS! The stamp set is bundled with the card kit to save you 15%. Chaching!  More money to buy rhinestones or buttons to add a little zing and bling!

Stampin' Up supplies used:
Merry Little Christmas Simply Created Card Kit (8 cards per kit)
stamp set: Merry Little Christmas clear mount or wood mount set
ink: real red, coastal cabana and gumball green classic ink pads OR real red, coastal cabana and gumball green stampin' write markers
adhesive: snail adhesive, glue dots

Details:
Fold coastal cabana base in half. Color the stamp with markers and stamp the saying on whisper white piece (rounded on top). Stamp the flourish above and the line of diamonds below. Thread the  baker's twine through the cutie button, tie in a bow, and adhere it to the whisper white piece with a glue dot.  OR tie the bow and adhere it directly to the button and then glue do that onto the card. Attach striped piece to base, then layer with stamped piece with snail adhesive. DONE!  Now that was simple!
