"Pretties" snow day challenge winner!

So... There was an ice storm in Little Rock and my huge occasions and sale-a-bration packages were held hostage at the UPS station for 4 days.  AND two of my holiday events were threatened by bad roads. To ease my pain, my "pretties" team member, Elizabeth suggested a "snow day challenge".  OH MY!  So proud of my pretties. While they are all experienced crafters, they are new to stamping and seriously!?! I'm so proud!  See what they did???

Elizabeth wowed us with an envelope box with removable ribbon (filled with 10 SU cards)

AND some birthday cards:

I love all the different patterns she made with one set of DSP, and seriously, the punch board is awesome!!!  I love the layers and layers of paper and embellishments and ribbon and punches.  This will make folks really smile on their birthday and seriously?  A handmade birthday card? That never happens anymore!

Now Jessica amazed us with a cutie owl and Christmas cards. Mind you, she is just starting out and has very few supplies. I'm amazed with what this Leisure Arts graphic designer can conjure up from a few things!

AN OWL PILLOW  BOX?  If I could sleep on it I would, it's so cute. I spy that she used the red envelope liners from the Merry Little Christmas Card Kit.  Waste not, want not!

Merry Little Christmas reimagined.  Now that's cool!!!

I love this Christmas set, A Banner Christmas and the burlap ribbon is a carryover to the spring catalog! MUST BUY MORE! Is that winterfrost DSP I spy? Again, the gumball green ribbon from the Merry Little Christmas kit. Did you notice how our graphic designer put a gold glitter sheet behind her creations? COOL!

Kathy wins the award for most stir crazy as she DROVE in the ice to my festive flurries class on Sunday! She didn't post a picture of the finished product, but I will. You can make all 10 of these in a little over an hour with the fabulous kit!  Thanks Marilyn Gustafson for hosting us in the ice. I walked down there "workshop in a backpack" style, parka and all.

Then Kathy went TAG CRAZY and aren't these cuties so cute?  The Pop and Place kit was another one of my favorite kits this season. Warning, one retired stamp set here (can anyone name it, Becky???), but seriously, there are tons with current stamps and aren't they precious?  I LOVE all the sparkle and dazzle and wow that she added, she's on fire with sparkles! I see she also utilized her season of style dsp paper stack. NICE!  Aren't her packages gonna rock?

Elizabeth's friend Sandy got in on the party. Not Stampin' Up embellishments, but I recognize the "to from" I think??? OMG, those embellishments are darling :). If she gave me these on a gift they would make me want to keep the tags and repurpose them for another use, wouldn't you?

Ok, so with my random number generator (aka, papers in a box) I DREW a name for the winner (me not included).  And the winner is!

ELIZABETH MAYFIELD HART

I'll get you something from the new boxes if they ever get here.
This was WAY more fun than lots of new stuff. Funny how things just work out isn't it!?!
Thanks, Elizabeth, my pretties and Sandy!
