It's a Playground Party!: Intructions for 5 Simple cards using "Playground" Project Life cards

Playground Party

It's a playground party!  I made these 5 SIMPLE cards in a flash using Stampin' Up's Playground Project Life card collection and accessory pack! My 9 year old daughter was playing around with Project Life and she was doing great on her own (because Project Life is just that easy) and so I just was thumbing through the cards and saw such potential with these Project Life cards for greeting cards. I also remember Rachel Tessman's post with another suite of PL products and copied the layouts for some of these cuties.

The beauty of Project Life memory keeping products by Stampin' Up vs. Project Life you can buy in stores is it's fantastic coordinaton with other Stampin' Up products and colors.  The colors in this kit are island indigo, crushed curry, calypso coral, pool party and garden green.  That makes it super simple to make something adorable in a flash. I just grabbed these colors of card stock, a few ink pads, the Playground Card Collection and the coordinating Playground Accessory Pack and one of my favorite stamp sets called Age Awareness and in a few minutes, I had these beauties!

Aren't they precious???

This first card features the 4x4 cards which are exclusive to SU line of Project Life products and it leaves a bit of room for the hilarious sentiments in the Age Awareness set.  "Thanks, Facebook" is just priceless, is it not? I used the epoxy stickers in the accessory pack for the cutie star on the bottom edge.  Stamps are stamped in island indigo.

This cute layout used circle punch cut in half (thanks Rachael!) and stamped and then another circle punch with island indigo stamping. Stars are from the accessory pack.

Seriously, I think this is my favorite, simply stamped and accessorized with the accessory pack. Here I used two 4x6 PL cards for my simple layout.  Stamping is in island indigo.

I layered a 4x4 polka dot card with a 3x4 card here for this cute look and used island indigo and crushed curry ink for the stamping. So simple it's scary!

I LOVE this starburst stencil from the Hooray for Cards kit in the Occasions Catalog. I sponged the whisper white base with crushed curry and added the camera from the accessory pack with a stampin' dimensional. I did layer and back the 3x4 card with island indigo card stock to make the white card stand out on the sponged background.

I hope you can come up with some adorable cards using the Playground Project Life card collection and share them in a link in the comments on this blog post. can't want to see what wonderful ideas you have!
