Simple Saturday: Happy Easter treat holders with scalloped tab topper punch

 
Happy Easter treat  holders are an easy DIY project that can make LOTS of gifts in a hurry. These were inspired by some Valentine's treat holders made by Stampin' Up! demonstrator, Mary Fish. I kept seeing them and loving then, so I adapted the design for Easter. You could easily adapt to any holiday! Wouldn't these be perfect for any occasion? Birthday, wedding favors, hostess or direct sales appreciation gifts? They are a cinch with the new Scalloped tab topper punch from the 2014 Occasions Catalog. They are just the right size to hold a chocolate treat!

Stamp sets: Delightful Dozen
ink: wisteria wonder, coastal cabana and calypso coral classic ink pads
paper: Whisper white, calypso coral, coastal cabana and wisteria wonder card stock
tools: Petite petals punch, scalloped tab topper punch
embellishments: gold baker's twine, watercolor wonder designer washi tape, vintage faceted designer buttons
 
Directions:
Cut whisper white strips of 2 inches x 7  inches. Score at 3 and 4 inches and use tab topper punch on both ends.  Stamp "Happy Easter" just above fold.  Tape Candy to bottom of tab.  adhere strips of watercolor wonder tape.  Punch flower with petite petals and affix faceted button. Tie closed with gold baker's twine. It's that easy!!!
