Swirly Whirly Maritime Greetings
Grab some paper towels and get your scrubbies on, it's shaving cream time! I was brainstorming what I could do with my Crafter School girls this summer. It has to be messy and wonderful to be totally fun. Shaving cream popped into my mind. I learned this technique from my fab upline, Rebecca Liggin.
I didn't want to wait for my maritime stamp set, so it's off to What's Your Type and Geometrical stamp sets. With these two sets, you can make almost anything! Then I needed a lot of tiny sentiments, so I searched and found A Dozen Thoughts.
I am soooo loving the results. You can imagine, the kids loved it too!
Here is a step-by-step tutorial for how to make these fab cards:
These stamp sets are awesome, you can make lots of neat things with them. Remember tangrams? It's like that!

Stampin' Up supplies used:
stamp sets: Geometrical, What's Your Type, A Dozen Thoughts
paper: lost lagoon, whisper white card stock 8.5" x 11"
ink: lost lagoon, pool party and pacific point classic reinkers; lost lagoon, tangerine tango and chocolate chip classic stampin' pad
tool: 2 1/2" circle punch
adhesives: snail adhesive and stampin' dimensionals
TIPS:
see tutorial above. Let bases dry about an hour before adhering to base. You wil need to put adhesive all the way around the white swirled layer since it tends to get curly. Punch white circle before you stamp on it. Adhere to card with stampin' dimensionals.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial! Try it and send me a picture, cogbill22@yahoo.com and I'll put it on the blog!
