Summer is here and so is the 2018-2019 Annual Stampin' Up catalog. You have to be 2000 leagues under the sea not to have seen this adorable stamp set yet. Sea of Textures is an incredible stamp set that you must add to your summer collection. This card was created for my Stampin' Technique Club this past weekend. It was inspired by this pin from Jackie Aitken. The elements are all heat embossed with white on whisper white card stock (thick whisper white for the base, of course). I sponged the whisper white layer that was heat embossed with my 3 new FAVE colors: Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana and Blueberry Bushel. At first I stamped the octopus directly on, but then white heat embossed him on whisper white thick card stock, sponged with Coastal Cabana and cut with the Sea of Textures Framelits,then popped him up with mini dimensionals. I would shudder to think about fussy cutting those legs...LOVE the framelits!
