I'm Dreaming of the Stampin' Up! Convention 2014 Display Boards

Best of Papermadeprettier!

I am over the moon to submit samples of my best projects to be considered as a display board creator at the 2014 Inspire, Create, Share Stampin' Up! 2014 Convention. What an honor it would be to be picked! Please tell me in the comments below which project is your favorite?

  Watercolor Wonder Card

The 2014 Occasions catalog is packed full of fabulous accessories: the gold Watercolor Wonder Designer Washi Tape, Gold Metallic Encore Pad, and the Gold Sequin Trim create easy, sparkly details. I can not tell you how much I love the Ruffle Stretch Trim! Get it now, it's retiring!

You're My Best Mate Ruffled Love

Did I not say I loved the Ruffle Stretch Trim? These notecards were a blast to make and I wanted to challenge myself to use the Hello Sailor set in a new way and color scheme.  I love the rhinestones which added just the right amount of razzle dazzle to the already precious card.

Gold Love Valentine's Card

I love all the gold on this card which was a non-conventional Valentine's card. My favorite detail from this project is the washi hearts that I created with the Watercolor Wonder Designer Washi Tape and the Small Heart Punch (also retiring). Do you know how I made black and gold washi? I combined the Epic Day This and That Designer Washi Tape with the Watercolor Wonder Washi and voila!

Leapin' Leprechauns Celebration Banner

I can NOT get enough of banners!  I LOVE the Celebration Basics Kit and the Calypso Coral Celebration Add-On Kit. This St. Patrick's Day banner is my favorite, but you can also check out what I did for an Easter banner here too!  Doesn't this leprechaun rock? I think I used 15 or so punches to create him. Full instructions to make this banner are here.

Hello Sailor Pirate Treasure Box

I dream of being on the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team and I think this little precious treasure chest is inspired by some of the intricate designs I have seen on their blogs.  I saw a treasure box at Walgreens made of paper, so I set out to make one. When I had the idea to use the Hardwood stamp set and add gold trim, I just had to do it! Full instructions to make it are here.

Project Life Stampin' Up! Style

Lastly, I am ecstatic about the partnership between Stampin' Up! and Project Life with Becky Higgins. What a partnership! The Stampin' Up'! coordination combined with the simplicity of Project Life = memory keeping nirvana? I haven't received my kit yet, so I created this with our fabulous coordinating products from the Retrofresh line: Retro Fresh Designer Journaling Tags. Instructions on how to make this page are here.

I hope you have enjoyed my greatest hits!  Tell me in the comments below, which one is your favorite?

  4. Thanks, Deirdre. I think the banner has been most versatile. I'm thinking about making it a Mother's Day Banner with the simply created wreath kit. :)
