Daydream Medallions 3x3 card box
I think this is my favorite project of the summer. Sometimes I just like to grab something and see where it leads me. First, I grabbed these two things because they are FREE when you buy a Big Shot this month!

Then I picked a bright summery color scheme Bermuda bay, daffodil delight and calypso coral, grabbed paper and ink and Big Shot (who am I kidding, it was already out in my craft area, it stays out!).
I had seen an adorable project on Pinterest and was so grateful for the measurements. Click here for the measurements to make the box designed by Jessica Urrutia.
Here's how it unfolded...First the cutie card box. I started this at 11pm, so the cards are gonna have to wait until the next day!
Then I made these cutie 3x3 cards using the same Daydream Medallions stamp set, an adorable hostess set called Hello There for the "so sweet of you" which I am madly in love with. It's the perfect sentiment to the scroll delicate stamping. Then of course, I finished the cards off with a rhinestone bling colored yellow with my blendabilities markers.
THE BEST PART? THIS STAMP SET AND FRAMELITS ARE FREE WITH PURCHASE OB A BIG SHOT IN AUGUST 2014! Don't miss out!!!
If you buy one during this time, I will send you a kit to make this project for free! Click here to order the BigShot and Bundle! You won't regret it!
Stampin' Up supplies used:
Stamps: Hello There, Daydream Medallions
paper: whisper white, daffodil delight, Bermuda bay and calypso coral cardstock
ink: Bermuda bay, calypso coral and daffodil delight classic ink pads and markers, memento black ink
tools: Bigshot floral frames framelits
embellishments: vintage faceted designer buttons (my fave), basic jewel rhinestones, and Bermuda bay baker's twine
adhesive: sticky strip or fast fuse for assembling box and attaching flowers to box
other: 3x3 envelopes
Tips I learned- you want to center the flowers on the box (the box part won't touch the ground, the flowers will). I think putting the reverse color of the large flower on the inside gives it a special pop and pizazz! Don't you?
